Our Fish

Fresh, Locally Raised — All Year

Here’s the lowdown. Naturally grown from fry (baby fish) to table, our fish are raised in clean water without all the added antibiotics, hormones and other negative additives found in conventionally caught fish. Our fish eat what fish were meant to eat, algae and natural greens, not ground up chicken scraps or GMO soy.

So, How Does It Work?

Our tilapia thrive with only a few basic necessities – clean water, good food, oxygen, and light. At Creek Side, the health and happiness of our fish not only translates to a beautiful bounty of tilapia, but the foundation of a fertile ground (or water, really) for the growth of crops. As it stands, we’re growing a variety of lettuces through a symbiotic relationship where the fish fertilize the lettuce.
